Leonard Tucker. 44 Gotham died in Thorn-m Memorial Hospital yesterday (July 29. 1947) following a long period of ill health. Born Mar. 12.

1857. in Bride-water. she was the daughter of Adolphus And Eldora Lunn Kingsbury, and had lived here about eight years. Mrs. Tucker was a member of the Canandai.M Rebekah Lodge, Garden Club, Home Bureau and Methodist Church, and a matron of the local chai 'ir, Order of Eastern Star.

Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter md son, Laurel Chute, Salem Depot, N. and John K. Tucker, Biownville; also three sifters and six Funeral services will be held in the Kennedy Funeral Chapel at A p. ni. today.

The Rev. Lloyd V. Plans for the first meeting, to be held at 3:15 p. Gilman, who also is chairman of the Combined Jewish Appeal of Greater Boston, returned recently from a 6-week visit abroad where he familiarized himself with the problems of the 1 million Jewish survivors in Europe, and observed at first hand the development and Mt. Morris to Plan Community Center; Mt. Edward W. Blyden, area director of religious and recreational activities among the migrant farm workers in Wane County, reports that the Wallington Methodist Church, which has been closed for some time, was formally opened last Sunday and dedicated to the use of migrant worshipers from the West-bury, Alton, Sodua and Joy camps. This is the first time that the migrant workers in this area have, had a church building put at their disposal. The Rev. John Muller of the Pultneyville Reformed Church led the service Sunday, and the dedication sermon was preached by the Rev.

Maurice Tysen of the Sodus Reformed Church. The Rev. Edwin G. Saphar of the Sodus Presbyterian Church also participated in the 6ervice, as did the Rev. Mr.

Blyden who represents the Home Missions Council of America in this area. There will be an 11 a. m. service and a 7 p. m.

service in the Wallington church each Sunday for the migrant workers of the vicinity. These services will replace the separate services which originally were held each Sunday in the Westbury, Alton, Joy and Sodus camps.
