"Bill" Wolcott-Rochester: Passed away April 10, 2011 at the age of 94. He is survived by his life partner and best friend, Raymond C. Purlee. Willis always preferred to be called Bill was a World War Veteran, and also a baker for many years with his own bakery known as Thurston Bakery for over thirty years and then went to work for Wegmans on Brooks Avenue Bakery until he retired in 1986. He was an active volunteer for the soup kitchen at Saint Peter and Paul Church on East Main Street for twenty years.

Bill enjoyed his retirement at his home on the lake where he passed away peacefully with his loved ones. All Services were private his resting place is in Sodus Rural Cemetery. Arr: by Young Funeral Mooney, James I. Jr. Scottsdale, AZ: Passed away unexpectedly on April 10, 2011.

Jim was born on June 24, 1938 in Rochester, N.Y. to Dr. James I. and Genevieve Mooney. He now joins them and his wife Kathy in Heaven.

He was a great husband, father, grandfather (Poppy) and friend. Jim loved life and he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his three children, Laura Senger (Jimmy), Jim Mooney (Christy), Kelli Moore (John), his six grandchildren (Matthew, Sean, Katie, Reagan, Tommy and Brynn), and his siblings, Rie Rague, Joyce Considine (John) Thomas Mooney (Norma) and John Mooney (Katie). Jim enjoyed running and hiking. He ran 11 marathons and hiked the Grand Canyon rim to rim in one day.

He was an avid reader, loved debating politics, and he enjoyed attending all of his grandchildren's sporting events. He graduated from Aquinas Institute and Lemoyne College. Jim lived in Rochester, New York until 1979, when he moved his family to Scottsdale, Arizona. Jim was loved by many and will be deeply missed. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, April 18th, at St.

Thomas More Catholic Church in Rochester, N.Y. Oliver, Fred Kaiser Westford, MA: Died unexpectedly Saturday, April 9, 2001, at his home in Westford. He is survived by his wife, Terrin Swift; his parents, Gene Oliver and Nancy Warren-Oliver of Pittsford, NY and his mother, Carol Wasson of State College, PA; his brother, James (Dalia) Oliver of Webster, NY; his sister, Catherine of Rochester, NY; and a niece and nephews, Tacianna, Lucas and Levi Oliver. He is also survived by two stepbrothers, Jeffrey (Liz) Warren of Penn Yan, NY, Roger (Mary Montgomery) Warren of Clark, SD; a stepsister, Susan (Roland) Johnston of Webster, NY and the ten children of the stepsiblings. Fred grew up in the Rochester, NY area, graduating from PittsfordMendon High School in the class of 1975.

He received a B.S. in Computer Software Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he met Terrin, and was employed first by a computer company started by two colleagues at RPI, and then as a software engineer in a short succession of small companies and in recent years, Sun Microsystems and currently Nokia in Burlington, MA. Memorial servies will be held at the convenience of the family. Parker, Margaret Ames Port Charlotte, FL: Margaret Ames Parker, 89, died April 4, 2011 in Port Charlotte, FL. Predeceased by husband Merle and survived by 3 sons: Stephen (Carolyn) of Rochester NY, Philip (Kathy) of McKinney TX, and Richard (Linda) of South Deerfield MA, eight grandchildren, one great-grandson son, 1 niece and 7 nephews.

Margaret was predeceased by her 3 sisters: Sarah (Howard) Rymers, Isobel (Bertrand) Harding and Laura Ames. She was born March 11, 1922 in Malone NY, the daughter of Willard Hudson Ames and Frances Meigs Whipple. She graduated from Alfred University in 1943 and received her in Education from the University of Rochester in 1967. In 1943 she married Merle E. Parker and lived in Rochester NY.

She worked for the Rochester City School District as a pre-school teacher and Supervisor, and later for Monroe Developmental Center as a Staff Development Specialist. In 1977 they moved to Punta Gorda Isles FL. There she was a founding member of STAR (Special Training and Rehabilitation) -a program serving disabled adults and children. A memorial service was held at Pt. Charlotte FL.

Internment will be in Morningside Cemetery in Malone NY in July 2011. Reitano, Frank F. Irondequoit: April 15, 2011 age 92. Predeceased by beloved wife of 52 years, Antoinette and his two brothers and two sisters. Survived by his chidren, Lisa (Gary) Palmer, Stephen Reitano; grandchildren, Anthony, Gary Frank, Sean, Joey, Eddie, Michael and Eric; fourteen greatgrandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her life was devoted to her family, her faith and her friends. Mrs. Smith was the daughter of Ferdinand and Mary (Edda) Asbury and was born on December 3, 1926 in Buffalo, NY.

She graduated from Hamburg High School in 1944 and earned a certificate of Dental Hygiene from the University of Buffalo. On July 20, 1949, she married George (Bud) Smith and together they raised four sons. Mrs. Smith was devoted to her family and was always there for them in conversation, activities and in love. She became an enthusiastic spectator at their sporting events and later the Buffalo Bills and Rochester Red Wings games.

Mrs. Smith worked in various positions in Hamburg, NY before joining her husband in starting JetBlack Sealers, Inc. She treasured the opportunity to help her family both emotionally and economically. Mrs. Smith had a wonderful spiritual life as well as an active prayer life.

Church was important to her. She was an active member at Trinity Episcopal Church in Hamburg, NY and The Church of the Epiphany, Gates, NY. She served on the Vestry, Altar Guild, Pastoral Search Committee several adult study groups. She was also a member of the Christian Women's Club of Rochester. She enjoyed many crafts and activities, especially sewing and knitting.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David and Debbie Smith of Penfield, NY, Larry Smith of Ellicottville, NY, Bill Smith of South Wales, NY, and Alan and Nancy Smith of Westfield, NJ. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Bill, Lori, Dawn, Christina, Jessie, Jennel, Katie and Reid, and four great-grandchildren, Brooke, Julie, Karagen, and Lyla. She is also survived by her brother Thomas Asbury of Hendersonville, NC. A memorial service will be held on May 21st at 11 am at The Church of the Epiphany. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Altar Guild of The Church of the Epiphany, 3285 Buffalo Gates, NY 14624.

Smith, Winifred Steinorth Fairport: April 10, 2011, age 93. Survived by her husband, John, her son, Jordan, and his wife, Mary-Alice, and her three grandsons, Liam, Nathaniel, and Evan, as well as her sister, Margaret. A graduate of the University of Michigan and a director of Christian education at the First Congregational Church, she lived a life of kindness, service, and gentle pleasure in the world around her. A memorial service will be held on April 29 at 3:00 pm at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 26 East Church Street, Fairport. Wing and a longtime resident of Kensington, MD, died Saturday the 16th of April, 2011, at Sunrise at Westtown, PA. Born in 1927, in Brockport, NY, Neva grew up in Hamlin, NY, the daughter of Carl and Marion Newman. She received her Bachelor's degree from Keuka College in 1950 and also studied abroad in Brussels, Belgium. married Roswell Wing of Kendall, NY, in 1950." and after several stops, including Philadelphia and Baltimore, they settled in Kensington, MD. They adopted two children in the early 1960s and when Roz received an overseas assignment, they moved the family to Bangkok, Thailand, where they lived for 5 years.

After returning home to Kensington in 1970, Neva worked as the Executive Assistant to the President of the National 4-H Foundation from 1974 until 1990. She spent the next several years working with the SpeechLanguage-Hearing Association, as well as maintaining her active membership in both the Kensington and Bangkok Women's Clubs. Neva was a wonderful wife and mother who spent endless hours enjoying and loving her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to cook and entertain, enjoyed traveling, playing bridge with friends, and volunteering at Calvary Lutheran Church. She maintained a strong bond with family throughout her life and traveled often back to Hamlin to visit relatives and friends.

She is survived by her son, David Wing and his wife Tracy of West Chester, PA; daughter, Kathy Goetsch and her husband Todd of Germantown, MD, along with four grandchildren: Daniel Connor Wing, and Brittany Bryan Goetsch. She is also survived by her two brothers, Richard and Neil Newman and their loving families. A Memorial Service will be held April 20th at 12:00 noon at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1107 Lake Hamlin, NY, followed by a luncheon for family and friends. A private interment for family will be held earlier that day at Lakeside Cemetery.
