DEMOCRAT Monday, June CHRONICLE 1962 15 Service Set Today For Louis Destazio runeral service for Henrietta Road, Brighton, an Instrument will be held Miller's Son Funeral Home, Mr. Destazio, 43, a World War II Navy veteran, died of heart condition Friday (June 8. 1962). He had worked at Taylor Instrument 15 years. During the war, Mr.

Destazio taught electronics at the former Sampson Naval Base. He resided in Avon before moving to Brighton in 1952. Mr. Destazio leaves his widow. Helen; three daughters, Valerie, Michelle and Julie Ann; a son, Brian; two brothers, Michael T.

Destazio Utica and Peter Destazio of 1 Caugallie, and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park. Friends may contribute to the memorial fund of South Presbyterian Church, 46 East Henrietta Road. Frederick G. Ahrens, Retired Tinsmith Frederick G.

Ahrens, 66, of 15 Furman a retired tinsmith and World War I veteran, died yesterday (June 1962) in Strong Memorial Hospital. Mr. Ahrens retired two months ago, after working many years for William Lauterbach, a hardware and sheet metal company at 750 South Ave. In the war, Mr. Lauterbach served overseas with the Coast Artillery Corps.

He is survived by his widow, Elizabeth Dunn Ahrens; a sister, Sister Mary William of the Sisters of St. Joseph Order at Our Lady of Lourdes Convent, and a brother, William A. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Thursday in St. Anne's Church.

Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Friends may call at N. J. Miller's Son Funeral Home, 1625 Mt. Hope from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.

of 1068 Ridge Road, Webster, past matron Henrietta Ca Chapter of the Order of Eastern Star, died yesterday (June 10. 1962) in an ambulance on the way to Highland Hospital. She had been staying at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Leonard, 169 Earl since being taken ill about a year ago. Her husband, Harry F.

Miller is a retired Rochester Gas Electric Corp. foreman. The Millers observed their golden wedding anniversary July 11, 1960. Also surviving Mrs. Miller are three sons, Harry, F.

Herbert C. and Floyd a sister, Mrs. Celia Campbell of Pacific Grove, 12 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Honan Funeral Home, 616 Genesee and burial will be in White Haven Memorial Park.

Harold Diehl Rite Set Wednesday Harold Diehl, 46. of Northboro, Mass, a native of Rochester and a World War Il veteran, died of a heart attack Friday (June 8, 1962) in Framingham, Mass. Mr. Diehl was employed by a paper manufacturing company in Framingham about 10 vears. Mr.

Diehl attended School 36 and Benjamin Franklin High School. Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Frances McCarthy of Columbia, S.C., and Mrs. Kathryn VanAlstine and Mrs. Louis Veltz of Rochester, and five brothers, Joseph and Herbert Diehl of Northboro, Arthur of Columbia and Robert and Edward Diehl of Rochester.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the August M. Maier Funeral Home, 1119 Joseph Ave. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
