Deaths Reported in Western New York Area IRVING C. KRAUSS PERRY Irving Charles Krauss, 85, died in his home on Ireland Road Tuesday (Dec. 27, 1966) following an illness of two weeks. He was born in Orangeville Feb. 12, 1881, a son of John and Anna Pfeifer Krauss.

He came to Perry as a young man and on Dec. 24, 1903, married Sarah B. Willey, who died last May. Survivors include six daughters, the Misses Elizabeth, Marion, Lucile, Carrie and Eloise, all of Perry, and Laura of North Chili; four sons, Walter, J. Benson, Leonard and George, all of Perry; a sister, Mrs.

Ida Munger of Warsaw, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. He was a brother of the late Mrs. Carrie Goodale. Services will be in the Eaton Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev.

Chester F. Wilder of Perry Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, MRS. LESTER GROSS DANSVILLE Mrs. Hazel Felbig Gross, 67, of 376 W.

Lake Road, Town of Geneseo, died Wednesday (Dec. 28, 1966) in Dansville Memorial Hospital, after a short illness. Born in Springwater, she spent most of her life in the Dansville area. She was a retired employe of Blum Shoe Mfg. Co.

in Dansville and was a member of St. Mary's Church, Dansville, and the Royal Neighbors Lodge. She is survived by her husband, Lester, a daughter, Mrs. Orville Badeau of Geneseo; two sisters, Mrs. Howard King of Warren, Pa.

and Mrs. John Kennell of Dansville; three brothers, Floyd Felbig of Canaseraga, Raymond of Ossian; and Ardene of Lawrenceville, a grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Chamberlin Funeral Home where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today. Prayers will be said at 9 a.m.

Friday, followed at 9:30 a.m. by a requiem Mass in St. Mary's Church with Rev. Raymond Wuest officating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

WILLIAM M. PETTY BATAVIA Funeral for William M. Petty, 64, of 25 Verona Ave. will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Bohm Mortuary, where friends may call.

Burial will be at the family's convenience. Mr. Petty died Tuesday (Dec. 27, 1966) in Genesee Memorial Hospital. His widow, Daisy Fite two sons and four ters are among survivors.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Petty's name to the Heart Fund. MRS. CATHERINE A. BOHM BATAVIA Services for Mrs.

Catherine A. Bohm of 104 Tracy, a.m. Ave. Friday will in take the place Bohm at Mortuary, and at 10 in St. Joseph's Church.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Bohm, 66, died in St. Jerome Hospital Tuesday (Dec. 28, 1966).

She was the widow of Clarence W. Bohm, the mortuary's founder, who died in 1953, and since his death had been its president. daughter, two sons and three grandchildren survive. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.

Memorials may be made to St. Jerome or Genesee Memorial Hospital or to St. Joseph's Church Building Fund. MOREY A. DANCER MEDINA Morey A.

Dancer, 83, formerly of Medina, died Wednesday (Dec. 28, 1966) in Orleans County Infirmary, Albion, where he had been a patient for the past three years. Born in Mundy, he had resided in the Medina area most of his life. He engaged in farming and for seven years was on he staff of the State Highway Department before retirement. Surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs.

Raymond Kennedy of Millville; a nephew, Earl Maurer of Clarence, and several cousins and step-grandchildren. Friends may call today from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Barnes-Tuttle Funeral Home, Medina, where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m., the Rev. H. Burton of the First Baptist Church of Medina, officiating.

Burial will be in Hunt's Cemetery, Clarence. MRS. GEORGE HEISLER ALBION Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Merrill-Grinnell Funeral Home in Albion for Mrs. Velma E.

Heisler, 69, wife of George Heisler, of Oak Orchard Road, Barre. She died Tuesday (Dec. 27, 1966). Rev. Ludo Winckel, pastor of Barre Presbyterian Church, will officiate.

Burial will be in Beechwood Cemetery, West Kendall. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Fund. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. MRS.

MOLLIE BISHOP BATAVIA Services for Mrs. Mollie Bishop, 99, of Rochester will take place at 8:30 a.m. Friday in the H. E. Turner Co.

Mortuary in Batavia and at 9 in St. Joseph's Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Mrs.

Bishop died in a Rochester hospital Saturday (Dec. 24, 1966) after a long illness. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Rollin Eick of Stafford, and a nephew, Glen Seifert of Orlando, Fla. Friends may call at Turner's from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

today. MRS. OLIN DE HULLU SODUS Mrs. Lavina A. De Hullu, 73, died Wednesday (Dec.

28, 1966) in her home on Middle Road, Sodus. She was born in Williamson and was a member of the Sodus Grange. Survivors include her husband, Olin; two sons, Clifford and Edward, both of Sodus; four daughters, Mrs. Stanley Boekhout of Sodus, Mrs. Donald Colwell of Pultneyville, Mrs Russell Nussbaumer of Palmyra and Mrs.

William Goulette of Sodus: 13 grandchildren; 2 greatgrandchildren; her father, John Peters Sr. of Williamson; a brother, John Peters Jr. of Pultneyville; a sister, Mrs. Cy Plyter of Williamson, and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2 p.m.

Saturday in the Young Funeral Home, Williamson, with Rev. Thomas Brown of the Third Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in East Williamson Cemetery at the ience of the family. Calling hours at the funeral home will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

MICHAEL W. DRAHEIM PHELPS Michael W. Draheim, 72, died unexpectedly Wednesday (Dec. 28, 1966) in his home at 8 Quarry St. Mr.

Draheim was an employe of Seneca Foundry and the Progressive Foundry at Lakeville until his retirement. He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church and of VFW Post 2670, Geneva. Survivors include his widow Mildred; four sisters, Mrs. Celia Schaefer and Mrs.

Helen McGlynn of Rochester, Mrs. Julian Hayes and Mrs. Jennie Colburn of 'California, and six stepchildren. Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Friday at the family home, where prayer I services will take place at 8:30 a.m.

Saturday, followed by a requeim high Mass at 9 p.m. in St. Francis Assisi Church, with Rev. Edward B. Simpson officiating.

Burial will be in St. Francis' Cemetery at the convenience of the family. CHARLES E. GREAVES CASTILE Charles E. Greaves, 95, died Wednesday (Dec.

28, 1966) in the Cook Nursing Home at Lamont, after having been in ill health for about 20 years. He was born in England Sept. 13, 1871. He moved to Perry as a young man and had been employed by the Borden Milk Co. and Robson Cutlery before his retirement.

His wife, the former Sara Axilby, died several years ago. Survivors include a son, ErnFranklinville; three daughters, Mrs. Harold Seymour of Castile, Mrs. Mabel Williamson and Mrs. Edna Walker, both of Buffalo; six grandchildren, and 19 greatgrandchildren.

services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Harmon Funeral Home in Castile by Rev. Clyde Embling. Burial will be in Grace Cemetery. CHARLES W.

RICKERSON PENN YAN A service for Charles W. Rickerson, 49, of 244 E. Elm St. will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Cahill Funeral I Home.

Rev. George Munger pastor of Penn Yan Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Bellona Cemetery. Mr. Rickerson died Tuesday (Dec.

27, 1966) in Soldiers Sailors Memorial Hospital. He was a past commander of Yates County Veterans of Foreign Wars Post and a member of the Past Commanders Club. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. A V.F.W.

Willing, died Wednesday (Dec. 28, 1966) in Clifton Springs Hospital Clinic. Mrs. Willing was a resident of Philps most of her married life. She had worked at Phelps National Bank for 43 years.

She was a member of Phelps Presbyterian Church. Until her death she had resided with her sister, Mrs. Evelyn Lewis of Sodus. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Friday at the Eacker Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m.

SMITH PALMYRA Leland M. Smith, 66, of 126 Liberty Plamyra, died Tuesday (Dec. 27, 1966) of a heart attack while operating a snowblower at his home. Mr. Smith had worked at Garlock, Inc.

for 22 years before he retired. He also worked for a while at the Gleason Works in Rochester. He was affiliated with the Palmyra Western Presbyterian Church. Survivors include his widow, Mabel; a daughter, Mrs. James Breen of Palmyra; two sisters, Mrs.

James Stoddard of Palmyra and Mrs. Grace Cooper of Pultneyville, and four grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Cady Mate Funeral Home by Rev. Walter R.

Hobkirk of Park Presbyterian Church in Newark. Calling hours at the funeral home will be today and Friday at the convenience of friends. FRANK M. WOOD local barber for 63 years, died CLYDE Frank M. Wood, a Tuesday (Dec.

27, 1966) in E. J. Barber Hospital in Lyons, following a long illness. Mr. Wood was born in Clyde.

He began his career as a barber in 1901 and was active until two years ago. He was a communicant of St. John's Episcopal Church and senior warden for 15 years. He was a 65-year member the Clyde Lodge 341, and a 72-year member of the Ever Ready Chemical Hose Company of the Clyde Volunteer Fire Department. Mr.

Wood is survived by his widow, the former May Zulauf, and two cousins. Mr. Wood and his wife were married April 25, 1905. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in St.

John's Episcopal Church with Rev. Daniel Bennett of the Grace Episcopal Church, Lyons, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Contributions may be made to a memorial fund in Mr. Wood's honor at St.

Clyde firemen will conduct a visitation at 8:30 p.m. Victor Crash Injures Two VICTOR Two persons were injured in a four -vehicle crash north of Victor on Route 96 last night. In addition, wind-driven sleet downed power lines on the same road near Phelps, delaying traffic for about an hour.

Operators of the cars and truck involved in the crash were: Clara Stanley, 47, of 155 Fishers Road, Fishers. Shesuffered back and neck injuries. James E. Best, 24, of 33A Skyline Circle, Brockport, driving a sift drink delivery truck. His passenger, Fred W.

State Trooper Neil Wolfanger said the truck collided with the Fishers woman's car as the latter began to turn into restaurant driveway. This impact sent the Stanley car into the paths of the Leckinger and Drake mcahines. Freezing Rain Impedes Travel ALBION Freezing rain last evening covered all county roads with a glare of ice. The eight sanders from the county highway department covered all roads at 6 p.m., with a heavy salt and sand mixture and then repeated the process during the night. Driving was extremely hazardous, but no accidents had been reported at a late hour.
