He suffered a massive stroke Jan. 7 and has been unconscious ever since. His sons have alternated coming weekends to be with him as have their wives and children and Mrs.

Wynds brother, Remsen V. Wood of Riderwood. MD. He died peacefully at his home without pain surrounded by his loved ones as he had wished. A memorial service will be held April 8 at 2 1 p.m.

As a member of Asbury First United Methodist Church since 1921 she was president of the Women's Society of Christian Service and is an honorary life member. For many years she was president of the Hatton Class in Asbury's Church School.
